BLANKETS FOR THE HOMELESS
Charlie and Sammie have a mission:
"For every homeless man, woman and child to be warm at night."
Every week, Charlie and Sammie
deliver blankets, which they
purchased with their own money
or had donated
They also give away more 100
peanut butter and jelly sanwiches
Hundreds of these families are
in the Fort Myers Area
There are an estimated 168,000
homeless individuals and
families in the United States.
Our Mom's Motto:

"It doesn't matter how small of a
contribution that you make to society,
it just matters that you are trying to
make some kind of contribution."

Meet Charlie and Sammie, Two Young Women Making a Difference:

Hi! Thanks for visiting our Web site. Blankets For The Homeless started when we
would help collect food from local grocery stores to be passed out the homeless. We
never thought there was so many homeless people in Fort Myers.

After looking in their eyes, we knew we needed to do something more. So, we started
saving our money and with the help of our mom, we began purchasing blankets. This
was the start of "Blankets For The Homeless."

Today, we accept donations, including blankets, work boots, and cash for
sandwiches. We go out twice a week to homeless camps to hand out the blankets
and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches (100-150 per outing). But we cannot do it all
alone,
We Need Your Help!

Please contact us by e-mail if you are interested in helping and we will follow up with
you! Our email address is

IMPORTANT NOTICE: We need blankets, food (bread, peanut
butter, and jelly), bottled water, bug spray, and tarps. Our economy
has been a really hard on the homeless families in our community.
Because Northcoast University believes so strongly in the Blankets For The Homeless Mission, this Web site is hosted FREE of charge.
SPECIAL THANKS:

We would like to acknowledge a couple of people for their help: Ms. April, Ms. Jackie,
and Mr. Ron. We do not what we would do without them!

Additionally, we want to thank STRIVE and Gateway Charter School for all their
recent help...all those peanut butter sandwiches were a God send!
THOUGHT FOR THE TIMES:
"Always remember to never
look down on anyone, unless
you are helping that someone
up."
