  • HISPANIC FAMILY FOCUS PROGRAM
    strengthens families by equipping them with the
    parenting skills necessary to create a positive home-
    life for themselves and their children. It is a
    culturally relevant prevention program that
    addresses barriers which have kept Latino families
    in high-risk status.

East Toledo Family Center

  • PARENTING WISELY uses the latest video
    game technology, teaches the parent to use
    assertive discipline using "I" statements along with
    contracting and active listening.  The program is
    so easy! No computer experience is necessary.

  • IT TAKES TWO: An outreach program to teach
    teenage fathers how to be more involved in their
    children's lives and to be positive influence,
    financial, and emotional role models to their
    children

First Step
  • PASSAGES is a psycho-educational program for
    men and women seeking to make changes in their
    personal life and relationships with others. It is an
    eight-week curriculum that is covered in twenty-
    four (24) two and one-half hour (2 hrs 30 min)
    group classes. The classes are held on Tuesday,
    Wednesday, and Thursday consecutively for the
    eight-week period. Both morning and evening
    groups are available throughout the year to
    accommodate work and school schedules.

    helps fathers increase the number of visits and
    exposure to their children through the
    development of better parenting skills.

  • STRENGTHENING FAMILIES PROGRAM:
    The Strengthening Families Program is a 14
    session family skills training program in
    collaboration with Family Drug Court to increase
    resilience and reduce risk factors for substance
    abusing parents and their children between the
    ages of 0-16 years.
  • INTENSIVE PARENTING PROGRAM: A
    program designed for Family Drug Court clients
    who have completed parenting classes. The
    purpose is to enhance treatment and sobriety by
    expanding parenting services to provide home-
    based parenting and a Parent Advocate at the
    time of reunification and beyond, into the period
    of protective supervision,

    classes for couples seriously dating, married or engaged
    and shares how to have a meaningful and lasting
    relationship!

  • FAMILY TIES HEALTHY MARRIAGE INITIATIVE: The
    mission is to help couples who chosen marriage for
    themselves, gain greater access to marriage education
    service, on a voluntary basis, where they can acquire the
    skills and knowledge necessary to form and sustain a
    healthy marriage.

Northcoast Fatherhood Collaborative
works with and recommends you call:
Almost 20% of sixth- through
twelfth-graders have not had a good
conversation lasting for at least 10
minutes with at least one of their
parents in more than a month.
