David Justus is Guinness World Record Holder, a two-time cancer survivor, an honorably-discharged,
Disabled Naval Veteran, a graduate of Brigham Young University, and a small-business owner. David
has more than 20 years experience in community service, including the co-founder of community- based
Fatherhood Initiative; Former Program Director for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, where he oversaw the
granting of more than 1,000 wishes; With United Way, he worked with 114 non-profit organizations; and
with the American Cancer Society, founded a support group for teens with cancer. Additionally, David
is the author of five books.

David Justus has been called, “a breath of fresh air.” As a two-time cancer survivor, he attributes his
optimistic outlook optimistic outlook to being given a second chance on life. He is a graduate of Brigham
Young University, has been a social worker, a Program Services Director for Make-A-Wish, and served in
the U.S. Navy.
It’s not uncommon to see David giving back to the community. On June 11, 2011, he organized and led a
community effort to raise awareness for children with cancer by setting a Guinness World Record for the
world’s longest lemonade stand, a lengthy 2,614’ 2”, which falls under the Guinness category of “longest
temporary bar.” Thus, his affectionate nickname “Lemonade Dave.”
David is the author of five books and enjoys speaking to groups of people, where he encourages them to
become everything they are capable of becoming.
